ABOUT

Since 2012,

DolphinProject, not the activist group of the same name, has strived towards making new, innovative, and entertaining cetacean art for all genders and ages above the age of 18.

Today, more and more institutions, franchises, and other forms of media that promote the education of cetacean/marine life have continued to end or close down each year due to animal abuse, animal rights controversies, or overall lack of popularity. Although this is somewhat of a good thing, there are unfortunate drawbacks from this. A result of this trend is that cetaceans have become less relevant, and even controversial, to today's culture and society. Less attention, less relevance. Consequently, people have started to lose interest and care towards these amazing and intelligent creatures, and the poor animals in the wild began to suffer because of it. Despite all the stories of orcas starving, or entire dolphin pods being slaughtered in East Asia, all people see them now these days are either creatures too engrained in the hot captivity controversy, or "baby shark rapists".

Even in the online art world you can see this happening. The cetacean art community, be it Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter, or even God forbid DeviantArt, has slowly been dying over the last 5-10 years. Once active chatrooms and groups filled with life, now sadly grow silent and empty. More and more cetacean artists continue to lose their interest and artistic passion in these animals, only to create art for the dragon or "scalie" community instead. Of course, I don't intend to criticize the dragon community, nor the choices of all these artist. The main point is to illustrate the death of dolphins in the public interest. Cetaceans have overall become a stigmatizing subject in today's world, and people just can't express their love for orcas without worrying about getting sucked into some heated debate about orca captivity, or learning about how "awful" dolphins are. This is exactly why cetaceans don't get as much attention as sharks do in today's society. Just count the amount of shark movies out there compared to cetacean movies. It's ridiculous.

I lived and drew in a time when things were so different from today. When the community was still alive and active. And seeing how things changed so quickly, I just find it so...heart breaking.

It's just not okay to like dolphins anymore.

Well, we're here to change that! We are DolphinProject FA, a place where all your craziest dolphin dreams come true!

Here at DolphinProject FA, we are on a mission to make cetaceans relevant, or dare I say, popular again. We strive towards full satisfaction, making good dolphin art you can enjoy all day and night. We work around the clock, delivering high quality artworks to our clients all around the world at the best prices and best times. We have an amazing work environment where all faculty and staff have a great time and share the magic of drawing dolphin art together. Trust and loyalty is key at DolphinProject FA, which is why we heavily frown upon ghosting and scamming our clients.

Don't just "care" about dolphins. Get EXCITED about dolphins again!

We are here to hopefully repair the tainted image of orcas and dolphins; preserving that same love you must've felt when you watched "Free Willy" or "Dolphin Tale" for the first time. That same energy you must've felt when playing "Ecco the Dolphin" or going to Seaworld as a child. We try to bring all the same energy, but with zero orcas in small tanks, and most importantly, from the comfort of your own home. So enough with the sharks and dragons. Let's breath some new life into this dying community. Let's show the world something fresh and new, one dolphin art at a time!
